The waitress hastily nodded her head a few times before saying in a shaking voice, “Yes, certainly.” Just as the words left her mouth, she turned around and walked away from the table with shaking legs in a hastened step. Duan Xi turned her head back to its normal position and smiled as she saw Su Jun.
Su Jun furrowed his eyebrows,
What’s with the waitress? Why did it seem like she was afraid of me? Was it because I crippled Cui Ba?
He sighed and turned his head back to its normal position. His eyes met with Duan Xi’s and he couldn’t help but smile.
“What was that sigh about?” Duan Xi said.
Su Jun shook his head, “It’s nothing…”
Duan Xi sighed, “Was it that waitress? Or was it those three?” Su Jun blinked his eyes, surprised, but before he could say anything, she continued, “The reactions the waitress and those three showed you were completely normal. The weak fear the strong and the strong seek out other strong to prove they are stronger.”
Su Jun slowly nodded his head, “I see.”
A few minutes passed, the waitress held a tray in her hands and looked at Duan Xi’s and Su Jun’s table from the distance. She took in a deep breath, steeling herself.
It’s going to be fine, I am just going to put the foot on their table and walk away. Nothing is going to happen. I have done this multiple times already. He won’t attack me, he doesn’t know that what happened today is my fault…
She took a deep breath and walked up to their table as calmly as she could. But even so, her legs were still shaking to some degree.

I have five more days until the competition. I will go and do the mission and rake up the points just as Duan Xi said but before that, I think it’s time I take a profession.
Su Jun laid down on the bed and closed his eyes. He appeared in the system space. Without waiting for anything he walked up to the computer, sat down on the chair and logged in. The main menu opened before him and he clicked <Professions> button.
A window with the list of professions opened and he clicked on the profession <Alchemy>. A smaller window opened.

. Su Jun clicked on the button <Go to alchemy profession window>. The screen changed and a new window opened. On the very top of the window, his current rank was displayed which was <Rank 1 Alchemist> and below that his skill level was displayed which was <1/75>. In the middle, all the items that he could craft were displayed. In the bottom, there were two buttons <Craft> and <Back>.
Su Jun’s eyes widened,

He clicked on the first item which was 5% Qi restoration pill and a small window opened.

Su Jun logged out of the system. His eyes opened and he saw the ceiling in front of him. He rose up, jumped off his bed and walked out of the house.
Walking outside, he saw Duan Xi standing by the door with closed eyes. Duan Xi opened her eyes and turned her head to Su Jun. She injected Qi into her eyes and tilted her head in confusion seeing that he was still rank 4 martial mortal but before she could say anything, he said, “Let’s go do a mission.”
Duan Xi nodded her head, “Alright.”
Su Jun and Duan Xi walked out of the house area and made their way to the mission building. Like before, Su Jun and Duan Xi got stared by all the disciples that they passed. And not one of them approached them but this time they were more fearful to do so than before. Because of the new rumour that has been floating around. The rumour that said that Su Jun crippled and almost killed a rank 4 martial mortal with a single punch while being a rank 4 martial mortal himself.
Su Jun and Duan Xi walked inside the mission building. He looked around and saw that most of the counters were not occupied. “Let’s go to that counter,” he said, she nodded and they walked to the counter he pointed at.
