When Rulu woke up from his coma, he found himself lying on a lush green lawn. In his field of vision was an emerald forest, and from afar came a "rustling" sound like ocean waves. Supporting himself with his hands on the ground, Rulu slowly sat up, wanting to figure out the current situation.
"You're awake, Rulu!?"
A soft exclamation from a young woman came from beside him. Rulu looked towards the voice and saw a young woman with grayish-brown curly hair sitting next to him, looking at him with joy on her face. Rulu immediately recognized this woman as Nana.
"Nana, where is this place, and what happened?" Rulu stared at Nana with a confused look. He pressed his temples with his hands, trying to make his groggy brain a bit clearer.
Suppressing the joy in her heart, Nana grabbed Rulu's hand and looked at him with a slightly worried expression, saying, "This is not the Sanctuary. How are you feeling now, Rulu? Is there any discomfort in your body?"
"Uh, I don't feel very good. My whole body aches, especially my head, but I should be fine for now. How long have I been asleep, and where is everyone else?"
Nana said, "Rulu, you have been in a coma for about three or four hours. C.C. and the others went to find food nearby and should be back soon."
"I see..." Rulu wanted to ask more questions, but right at that moment, another young woman's voice came from the sky nearby: "Rulu?!"
Hearing this voice, Rulu quickly looked up and saw a young woman with long orange-yellow hair floating out of thin air about four meters above the ground in front of him. The most bizarre thing was that behind this woman, there were actually six wings.
"Is it a monster from the Sanctuary!?" Rulu was startled. Thinking that an enemy had appeared before his eyes, he quickly grabbed Nana's hand and swiftly stood up from the ground.
"Ah, a monster?! Where is the monster?!" The six-winged woman floating in mid-air looked around in panic, but there were no strange creatures nearby, only the lush forest.
Rulu felt that the voice coming from this floating humanoid creature was very familiar. Looking closely at the humanoid creature, he immediately recognized that the six-winged being was his friend Shari. Rulu asked the humanoid creature in great surprise, "You... you are Shari?! How did you turn into this?"
Shari slowly descended from the air and landed beside Rulu, with a complaining look on her face, "What's wrong? Does my current appearance look that bad? Were you referring to me when you said 'monster' just now?"
Realizing he had misspoken, Rulu quickly and awkwardly explained, "Of course not. It might be because I was in a coma for too long, and my mind isn't quite clear yet. Shari, how did you become like this? Where did the wings on your back come from?" As he spoke, Rulu reached out curiously and touched the wings on Shari's back.
Sensing that Rulu didn't seem to be disgusted by her, Shari's mood improved slightly, but she still pretended to be angry and said with a straight face, "It was you, Rulu, who turned me into this. Don't you remember?!"
"I turned you into this? No way?" Rulu became even more surprised.
Nana chimed in from the side, "It's true, it really was you, Rulu, who made Shari like this. Shari had died at that time, and to save her, you fused her body with that of the firebird. Then Shari became the way she is now. I saw it with my own eyes, it's absolutely true."
With a bewildered expression, Rulu said, "To think such a thing happened. I really don't remember. My memories are a bit chaotic, my head hurts a lot, and I just can't seem to recall certain things."
Nana said, "If you can't remember, then don't force it. Rulu, just rest for a while and recover your strength first."
"Okay..." Rulu immediately found a place to sit down and rest. Shari said she would go find the others, and then took flight into the forest to look for C.C., Kallen, and the rest.
After a while, C.C., Kallen, and W.W. were all brought back by Shari. Upon discovering that Rulu had woken up, they were naturally very overjoyed. Rulu asked C.C. about the current situation and where they were at the moment.
C.C. replied that after they left the Sanctuary, they arrived above the ocean. W.W. used her Magic Psionic power to carry them and fly over the ocean for a few hours before landing on a small island. At that time, Rulu was still in a coma, and everyone was very tired and hungry, so they divided the tasks among themselves. Shari and Nana were assigned to take care of Rulu, while the others searched for food nearby. That was pretty much what happened.
Rulu then asked C.C. if it was safe here and whether the Emperor of the Sanctuary would send people to chase them down here. C.C. said that the Sanctuary had been moving and flying rapidly over the ocean, and the location where they left the Sanctuary through that spatial cave was not fixed. Furthermore, they had flown over the ocean for several hours. The ocean was vast with many islands; even if the Emperor sent pursuers, they wouldn't know their exact location and would find it very difficult to track them down.
Hearing C.C.'s words, Rulu felt relieved. He looked around at everyone and said, "Thank you all. Thanks to everyone's hard work and help, we were able to safely leave the Sanctuary. Thank you."
