Drama Female Lead Mythology
Psychological Thriller
For years Sora has been viciously harassed by bullies, being subject to physical, psychological, and emotional torture from middle school to high school. This, however, is going to change as Sora’s sixteenth birthday draws near; reality begins to twist as myths and legends surround her. She starts to change from a demure teenage girl to something else as she struggles to come to terms with her new transformation.
Volume 1: Maturity
Volume 2: Revelation
Volume 3: Spotlight
Volume 4: The Capital
Volume 5: Ascendance
Really enjoyable read. The first few chapters hit a little too close to home for me, but as Sora's character develops the light novel feeling takes over.

If you enjoy a coming of age novel, followed with many misfortunes and a girl trying to learn how to live with her transformation and help those around her, then I think you'll enjoy it. However, know that in Volume 2 there will start to be some POV changes between characters. I write in 3rd Person Limited; so, you'll see it all from the character's POV, and each chapter is roughly 3k to 5k words long.

(review ported over from royalroad) What a good and interesting Fantasy story. The characters just are so well written, the author has displayed all sorts of emotions really well in this story. Not suprisingly, the best written character is Sora, from how she is at the start of the story, compared to the end of book 1, theres a huge change, and it only becomes more apparent that she is really growing with the second book. I do like how the author has pulled off her character. Each of the books so far had a sort of theme of their own, the first one was about change and how it affects Sora and those close to her. The second one..... just go read this and find out, i just cant explain it. The author has done a excellent job at writing this novel and making sure there are no typo's or grammatical mistakes. The pacing of the story so far has been excellent, the story has also a lot of detail written into it and the author has done a lot of work researching mythology for this story, and that does really show. Not only that, the author dares to write complex chapters with philosophical questions, though this comes with the problem that such chapters can be hard to follow at times while also being very descriptive and slow. This story has a ton of potentional, it still has so much to tell, that it is clear this will be a very long story. I wholeheartly recommend people to read this if they like a good Fantasy story with a Mythology focus set in modern day earth.

OMG, this book is sooooo good! 😍 The main character Sora is super relatable and I felt so bad for her when she was standing outside the psychologist's office feeling anxious 😢 I was like, "What's wrong with her? Why does she need to see a psychologist?" 🤔 The office setting is described so well, it's like you're actually there! 🎨🖼️ The colors are so bright and cozy, it made me feel warm and fuzzy inside. 😌 Sora has a lot of problems expressing herself, and I could totally understand that. 😔 I was like, "Gurl, same! 😩" And when she revealed that she was being bullied by Kari, I was like, "That's so not cool! 😡" Kari sounds like a super mean girl and dangerous too! 😱 But then Sora did something really bold and sent a video to the police! 🚓 I was like, "Go Sora! You show her who's boss! 👊" But then I got super worried about what would happen next... 😬 Mary, the psychologist, is also really intriguing. She seems to know more than she's letting on about Kari and the danger she poses. 🤔 It's like a mystery and I want to know more! 🔍 Sora's past experiences with a previous psychologist and her dad's reaction to her bullying also made me feel really bad for her. 😢 I just wanted to give her a big hug! 🤗 I can't wait to see how she overcomes her difficulties and beats the bully! 💪 I loved this book and would totally recommend it to all my friends! 😍👌
