Although it was just a brief encounter with Amori, Tang Tian was filled with confidence in his flashing punches. Despite Amori not using true power, that slash was indeed his pinnacle work. Even now, Tang Tian's hand still tingled slightly, a testament to the immense strength he had felt.
However, Tang Tian also confirmed the potency of his flashing punches and felt optimistic about the future. Yet, before that, there was something else he needed to address.
Zhou Peng!
With a grim expression, Tang Tian resolved to take revenge after Mr. Cen was dismissed due to the fallout, as he was not one to repay kindness with enmity. What’s the point of living if a man cannot even settle his grievances?
He had held back previously only because he knew he was too weak. Zhou Peng, having learned from their last encounter, likely had even more bodyguards around him now. Given his previous strength, confronting him head-on would be like an egg hitting a rock.
Now, however, he was confident in his abilities; the time for revenge had come.
He made his way to the Ande Academy, familiar with the route. At this hour, classes were in session, and few people were around outside. Tang Tian glanced around and stealthily entered.
As a newcomer known as the "Bullying Tang," his return sparked a commotion and panic. He was like a fierce beast entering a village, causing chaos in the training grounds, with many students fleeing in all directions.
It took Tang Tian considerable effort to catch one student. From the stammering account, his brows furrowed; Zhou Peng had not been seen at Ande since his transfer.
Zhou Peng isn’t coming to Ande? Even Tang Tian understood that Zhou Peng wasn’t staying away out of fear of him—there had to be another reason.
After pondering for a while without arriving at a conclusion, he shook his head, deciding not to dwell on it. It seemed Zhou Peng was simply fortunate this time. Meanwhile, the student he had grabbed fainted from fright.
The sound of hurried footsteps and angry shouts from teachers grew nearer. Without hesitation, Tang Tian got up and left.
Once outside Ande, his mood brightened. Starwind City was not that big; they were bound to cross paths eventually. Moreover, as long as he grew strong enough, Zhou Peng would be insignificant, let alone the Zhou family.
Getting stronger was the only truth!
Tang Tian resolved to settle this matter before heading to Tianlu.
Once he had made up his mind, he stopped overthinking it, humming a tune as he prepared to return to school. Just then, he heard voices behind him.
“Do you know where the Shaqima Academy is?”
“That run-down place? Who knows! If it weren’t for the ruckus this time, I wouldn’t have even heard of Shaqima Academy.”
“Damn it, how are we supposed to find trouble with them?”
Tang Tian paused, surprised—find trouble with us?
Shen Yuan and Yang Yong stormed out of the school, determined to take down Tang Tian and Amori. But upon exiting, they found themselves utterly lost.
Where is Shaqima Academy?
Neither had ever heard of this school, and asking several people along the way yielded no results.
They stood on the street, bewildered, unsure of what to do. If they were to return in defeat, it would be a tremendous embarrassment, provoking laughter from everyone. After all, their classmates had risked punishment to help them, only for them to come back empty-handed.
That would surely be the biggest joke at Tianjing Academy this year.
Both Shen Yuan and Yang Yong were proud individuals; losing face like this felt worse than death. Yet, no one seemed to know about Shaqima Academy!
Yang Yong's face darkened like a pot lid. “Shaqima Academy, a place no one even knows the location of, dares to challenge us at Tianjing? Their principal must be insane! If he were here, I’d slice him in two!”
“That old man is still untouchable; I heard the principal even came out to greet him. They must have some connection. We just need to deal with Amori and Tang Tian. With only these two students, we should make sure they can’t participate in the martial arts meeting.” Shen Yuan analyzed calmly.
“Making sure they can’t participate is easy enough—break a few bones, and they’ll be out for a hundred days. But first, we need to find them. And quickly; it won’t be so easy to come out next time.” Yang Yong said helplessly.
“We’ll have to ask someone.” Shen Yuan had no better ideas.
He spotted a boy who looked like a student ahead and rushed over. “Classmate, do you know where the Shaqima Academy is?”
The boy paused, furrowing his brow in thought. “Oh, you mean the Shaqima Academy that crazy bull Amori transferred to? I think I’ve heard of it.”
Shen Yuan and Yang Yong exchanged excited glances, overjoyed.
Shen Yuan quickly asked, “Could you please point us in the right direction?”
The boy shook his head. “It’s outside the city, far away. I can’t describe it well.”
“Could you take us there?” Shen Yuan forced a smile.
The boy shook his head vigorously. “No way! I still have classes to attend; I don’t have time!”
Yang Yong's face darkened. “Kid, don’t push your luck! Let me tell you, today you’re coming with us, whether you want to or not! Do you want to test me?”
The boy's face went pale, fear overtaking him. “Y-you’re from Tianjing…”
Shen Yuan looked up at Yang Yong. “Time is running out.”
Without a second thought, Yang Yong lunged forward, grabbing the boy by the collar and using lightness skill to increase his speed. Shen Yuan followed closely behind.
Yang Yong growled, “Which way?”
The boy trembled, pointing with a shaking finger. “That… that way…”
They quickly changed direction, darting towards where the boy pointed.
Yang Yong’s lightness skill was extraordinary; even while holding someone, he moved swiftly and gracefully. In contrast, Shen Yuan’s lightness skill was slightly lesser, but his true power was immense, each stride covering considerable distance, his breath steady.
They spared no effort, moving at breakneck speed until they soon exited Starwind City, continuing along the dirt road outside.
After about an hour of travel, Yang Yong began to wonder if the boy was deceiving them. Just then, a wooden sign came into view, displaying five characters—Shaqima Academy.
Yang Yong and Shen Yuan exchanged glances, ecstatic to have finally found the place!
Suddenly, Shen Yuan’s expression grew serious, as if he had seen something terrifying.
“Watch out!”
Before Yang Yong could comprehend the situation, his jaw was struck with a heavy blow.
The punch was immensely powerful; Yang Yong felt a sharp pain in his jaw, and his head buzzed, plunging him into blankness.
“Fly Bull!”
A howl ripped through the silence of the woods.
“Ha! Basic Tang, you’ve finally returned!”
A man resembling a brawny bull burst through the dense trees, wielding a giant wooden sword nearly his size. When Amori saw the scene before him, he was momentarily stunned.
“Fly Bull, I’ve found you a worthy opponent—someone from Tianjing Academy, a real expert. By the way, they’re here to cause trouble for us; maintaining the great Shaqima Academy’s honor is your task now.”
Tang Tian swung his fists, raining blows upon Yang Yong without even glancing at Amori.
Yang Yong’s lightness skill had left a deep impression on Tang Tian. Although he was brimming with confidence, he was not foolish. His flashing punches were powerful, but his other martial skills, especially the lightness skill, were still at a basic level.
Yang Yong, with his skill, held a significant advantage. The old man Wei had once told him, “Without good lightness skill, you cannot close the distance; you have no chance of winning.”
Only martial arts above the sixth level possess long-range attack capabilities.
Tang Tian did not use true power, but his punching speed was already impressive, and his flashing punches had reached a perfect level through training. His attack frequency was astonishing, fists falling like rain.
Yang Yong, caught off guard by the first heavy punch, had no means to fight back, resembling a punching bag, enduring the blows helplessly.
Bang!
After enduring an unknown number of punches, Yang Yong finally succumbed and fainted.
Amori glanced over, his gaze filled with sympathy.
Basic Tang’s physical prowess was already terrifying, and his striking technique was flawless. No one understood better than Amori just how heavy Tang Tian’s fists were.
Enduring so many punches was unimaginable, even for him—what a pitiful fellow…
He quickly turned his attention back to Shen Yuan.
“Shen Iron Palm?” Amori spoke in a low voice, recognizing Shen Yuan, his eyes igniting with fierce determination.
Shen Iron Palm was Shen Yuan’s nickname, known for his powerful iron palms. Specializing in metal-based palm techniques, his hands were hardened to the point of being as tough as iron, impervious to blades. Those familiar with him often referred to him as Shen Iron Palm.
Shen Yuan ranked ninth at Tianjing Academy, while Amori had ranked seventh at Beast Academy. With Tianjing Academy being first and Beast Academy third, Shen Yuan’s rank was indeed higher than Amori’s.
Initially stunned by Tang Tian’s sudden attack, Shen Yuan now displayed no signs of agitation, his expression calm as he shook his head and sighed, “Didn’t expect to be caught off guard today; Tang Tian, good acting!”
“Ha, flattery! Flattery!” Tang Tian replied without looking up, having found a rope from somewhere, grinning as he tightly bound Yang Yong.
“Come now, let’s have a proper fight! I want to see the legendary unbreakable Shen Iron Palm!” Amori was indifferent to why Shen Yuan was there; as long as there was a fight to be had, his excitement was ignited.
“Unbreakable? That’s an exaggeration. However, dealing with you is more than enough.” Shen Yuan’s expression turned grave as his palms darkened, resembling iron.
Having just finished binding Yang Yong, Tang Tian showed no interest in the impending showdown, his eyes gleaming as he looked at the tightly bound Yang Yong, beginning to search his body.
Nothing excited him more than the spoils of victory!
