Chapter 44 - Chapter 43 Destinia's Admiration

High above the celestial plane, high Goddess Destinia observed the bold declaration below with a stoic mask. Beside her, the Goddess Iphy let out a melodic chuckle, clearly amused by the audacity of these mortals. However, Destinia's gaze never wavered from the divine mirror that displayed the unfolding scene. For a moment, the usually unflappable goddess appeared shaken, her regal composure wavering. "I will give them what they want," Destinia stated firmly, her voice carrying an unexpected resonance. Iphy's eyes widened in shock, the mirth fading from her features as she turned to regard her fellow deity. Destinia's concession hung heavy in the air, a concession born from a realization that threatened the very foundations of the heavenly realm. These mortals, once mere adventurers, had grown into formidable forces capable of reshaping the fate of worlds. Their desires, though reckless, carried weight that could not be ignored.

"What are you talking about Destinia!? Those are baseless threats!" Goddess Iphy's eyes widened in disbelief, her expression morphing from amusement to alarm. "Baseless threats?" Destinia sputtered, incredulity lacing her voice. "Destinia, those mortals dare threaten the very fabric of our divine realm!" Iphy stated. Destinia shook her head, her words carrying a weight that defied the usual divine indifference. "Iphy, listen carefully. The world they hail from is colossal, comprising thousands of continental-scale realms, each with its own heavenly authorities. Isla, in her former life as a Sword Saint, has traversed many of these worlds, laying waste to at least twenty heavenly realms alongside their deities." A chill ran down Iphy's spine as Destinia's implications sank in. "Our own realm, modest in scale compared to theirs, is but a fragment of their vast tapestry. Only an Absolute God, a being of unfathomable power, could potentially rival or even overpower Isla's prowess in her heyday."

Destinia's voice trembled with a mixture of trepidation and reluctant acknowledgment. "The truth is, I did not desire their aid in saving this world. However, circumstances dictated otherwise. Two Absolute Gods currently holds Mixarnt's fate in its grasp, rendering him unreachable for the time being." She paused, her expression grave as she considered the precarious situation. "So, I gambled and sought the assistance of those three formidable women, hoping their connection to Mixarnt would outweigh their potential dangers. Though I must confess, their contractual immunity does pose a significant threat if broken. Should we attempt to force them back to their own realm, Isla's unique abilities as a Sword Saint could imperil our very existence. She could just slice the dimensions and invade our realm."

Destinia's words hung heavy in the air, underscoring the gravity of their predicament. The once proud goddess now found herself indebted to mortal women, whose actions could tip the balance of power in the cosmos.

Goddess Iphy scoffed at the notion, her amusement clear. "Ugh, I can't believe humans would be so audacious as to threaten divine beings!" Destinia chuckled softly, her smile warm and gentle as she countered Iphy's skepticism. "Yes, but perhaps we should avoid provoking them further. After all, there seems to be little harm in granting them what they desire. They've demonstrated remarkable restraint, showing no inclination to harm the innocent. Their strong sense of justice and moral compass is evident."

Iphy raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced. "And you propose granting them the ability to travel freely between realms, solely so they can maintain connections with their loved ones?" she asked, her tone laced with doubt.

Destinia nodded, her expression serene. "That is correct, Iphy. Their motivations are rooted in familial bonds, not malice. By giving them this concession, we ensure their loyalty and minimize the risk of them turning against us."

Destinia's cheeks then flushed with excitement, her eyes shining with genuine admiration for the young girls' remarkable accomplishments. "Also, their current feats as ten-year-old children are truly awe-inspiring. Defeating three demon generals? That's a staggering achievement for anyone, let alone prepubescent girls."

She clapped her hands together, the sound echoing through the celestial chamber. "Think of it - these young ladies, already demonstrating such incredible power and skill, will only grow stronger as they mature. Imagine the potential for good, or ill, they could wield in the future. By supporting and nurturing their growth, rather than opposing them, we safeguard our interests and secure their loyalty."

Destinia's enthusiasm was palpable, her earlier trepidation replaced by a growing appreciation for the girls' talent and determination. "Granting them the means to maintain contact with their loved ones is a wise investment in their continued benevolence," she declared with conviction..."

We are almost finish with Volume 1!!!! I am kind of happy because I finally reach that point. Sure, the whole manuscript is finish but uploading it per chapter while also doing edits and proof reading is hell. For edits, I only tone down the violence and gore. But because RRS has ALOT of those, it took me at least 1 to two hours just to upload a chapter. Anyways, keep safe! Flu is everywhere! And as always, thank you for reading Red Royal Sabers and supporting the series. I wasn't expecting a lot to read my book lol.
