Why the Awakening Ceremony is held in schools:
Most sixteen-year-olds are enrolled in educational institutions, so the government mandates schools to host supervised Awakening Ceremonies in partnership with the Seoul Rifter Association every month. It ensures safety, reduces logistical burden, and allows early identification of students who may need Rifter training.
What about teens who don’t attend school?
They report directly to their district branch of the Rifter Association, where official Awakening Chambers are available year-round. The process is identical, and their results are sent to local academies or guilds if they choose to pursue Rifter training. But they usually charge a higher fees. Others? Well, we’ll see about that…..
