4 months have passed.
Krishna practiced a few fist techniques. As for path of sword, shen didn’t teach the techniques yet.
“I learned the fist techniques taught by grandpa. But he said for practicing path of swords, I need to wait for a while. As I completed my practice, I should go and ask grandpa shen about when we will depart to vajranagari.” Krishna said.
Krishna came to shen.
“Grandpa Shen; when we will depart to vajranagari? Iam eager to know what items will I get.” Krishna asked.
“Before going to that place, you must practice the fist techniques I taught you. Only then, you can protect yourself.” Shen replied.
Krishna laughed.
“You little brat! Why are you laughing? Did I say a joke?” shen shouted.
Shen replied.
Krishna laughed.
“You little brat; Why are you laughing? Did I say a joke?” shen shouted.
“No grandpa. I laughed because I already practiced those techniques you’ve taught me. And now you are asking me to practice those again?” Krishna said.
Shen was shocked.
“What? Did I hear it right? You already learned them?” shen asked.
“Yes it’s been 4 months only and I mastered them. Didn’t I a quick learner? Krishna said.
“Quick learner? You? Those are just basics and you need 4 months to practice them. You are the slowest one to take that much time.” Shen said.
Krishna was sad.
“Ok ok. Don’t be sad. Though what I said is true but you are not that slow compared to some people. Now listen I will tell you when we will depart in the evening. Until then go do your works.” Shen said.
In the evening, shen took Krishna to his house.
“Listen Krishna; 4 months had passed and now it is the time for us to go to the auction that will held in the capital. So we have to be careful. Because, many strong persons and the people of vajravansh will gather there for valuable items and treasures. And though we had money to buy items, we don’t have that much money. So make sure about what you want when we get there. After we get the item we will immediately escape from that place. Do you understand?” shen asked.
“But grandpa; why are we need to run when we bought the item legally?” Krishna asked.
“You are too young to understand but only some people and some places are safe in this continent. Outside this village, you will face the cruelty of world. They will kill you without hesitation if they want something from you. So be wary of people. Don’t trust people so blindly. You have to be near to me when we get there. That’s all there is to say to you for now. Now go and take some rest. We will depart tomorrow.” Shen replied.
“I understood grandpa. I’ll be careful.” Krishna said.
The night has passed. In the morning,
“Grandpa; I already packed my things and ready to go anytime. So shall we?” Krishna asked.
“Ok. We will depart now.”
They left the village and going to the capital.
“Grandpa Shen, when will we reach the capital?” Krishna asked.
“Once we crossed this forest, we can take a rest for this night and by tomorrow evening, we will reach the capital.” Shen replied.
“Ok grandpa. Then I will meditate for some time.” Krishna said.
“Ok. Don’t overdo it.” Shen said.
They went to middle of the forest.
“This is so strange. We been into this forest but we encountered nothing. Iam feeling this silence is the one that come before disaster. We need to go fast.” Shen said.
He increased the cart speed and successfully reached the end of the forest but he encountered a knight with severe injuries and a girl protecting him.
“Wait who are they? Leave it. I need to be careful. I don’t want to meddle in someone’s problem.” Shen whispered to himself.
Krishna sensed them with his metal power while cultivating.
“Grandpa! Stop the cart. There are two persons in a bad condition. We need to help them.” Krishna said.
“We need to go to the capital Krishna. Don’t meddle in someone’s business. They can take care of themselves.” Shen said.
“Grandpa! How can you say that grandpa? They need our help. Otherwise they will die by those beasts.
“Listen to me krishna. That person beside the girl is powerful. We don’t know if this is a trap or not. So we need to stay out of it.” Shen said.
While shen talking Krishna jumped off the cart and went to them.
“This boy will never change. He will do what he thought of. Leave it; I’ll scold him later. They need to be treated first. Shen said.
They carried the man and the girl in their cart and crossed the outskirts of forest. Shen found a safe place to stay for rest and treated them.
“Grandpa, are they fine?” Krishna asked.
“I treated their injuries. They will be fine. They just need some rest. I have a task for you.” Shen said.
“Task? Which one?” Krishna asked.
“There is a river nearby go catch some fish to eat.” Shen replied.
“Huh? Me? Grandpa Shen, you are sending a kid into some unknown place full of beasts. How can I go alone?” Krishna asked.
“I’ve taught you some skills. And the beasts here are low level ones. So don’t worry. And I will teach you the basic sword technique.” Shen replied.
“A sword technique huh; ok.” Krishna said.
“Listen. The technique iam teaching you is sword amplification. It sharpens our blade to its peak. But it requires high concentration and mental power usage. So observe my movements and learn it.” Shen said.
Shen concentrated his mental power to his sword and slashed a big rock near him.
“Grandpa Shen, how did you do it? It was awesome.” Krishna said.
“Now practice this and go to catch some fish to eat. It was your idea to save them. So you need to catch the fish for their recovery.” Shen said.
“I understood grandpa.” Krishna said.
Krishna started practicing sword amplification for a few times. But failed to complete.
“Grandpa Shen; what should I do now? I am unable to do it no matter how many times I tried.” Krishna said.
“Don’t be sad. You can practice it later. It requires more focus and practice. You will be safe with your skills. Now don’t waste your time here and go catch some fish!” shen shouted.
Krishna immediately searched for the pond and reached it.
After catching a few fish, he was making his way back. But on his way, he encountered a level 20 flame bear.
“Wait what is this? A bear with this size? Iam all alone.” Krishna said.
Krishna felt fear because it’s his first time going outside and fighting for real.
The bear launched a fireball attack. Krishna was able to dodge it. But it immediately hit him with its claw. He barely managed to withstand it.
“No. iam bleeding now. If I continue to dodge, I will meet my end here. I need to give it my all to attack that.” Krishna whispered.
Krishna stood and activated his fist technique.
“Iron fist!” he shouted and attacked.
“Iron fist is an art that makes our fist as hard as iron and increase our attack strength.” Krishna said.
After he punched that bear it moved a bit back. But recovered immediately. It started to attack again.
“No this fist can’t do anything to it. I need to give it my all. To defeat it, I need to use my mental shock that I learned secretly and the skills I had in my sleeves.” Krishna said.
He immediately activated his iron fists; he picked a wooden stick and amplified its power by constantly giving his mental power into it. By making it sharp like sword, he used his mental shock on that bear to disrupt his focus, instantly launched an attack and sliced its head with brute force and sharpness.
Shen observed that scene from the distance.
“Combining your techniques to form an attack with brute force, sharpness and by disrupting your enemies focus and immediately go for a kill. It’s remarkable. You have grown krishna.” shen whispered to himself.
After Krishna defeated the bear he collected its heart and came to shen about what he faced. They cooked the fish and talked for some time.
“After eating this meal go and take some rest. Your wounds will heal by tomorrow.” Shen replied.
“Thanks grandpa.” Krishna said.
“For what?” shen asked.
“If you haven’t left me to face it alone, I would never have learned the lesson today.” Krishna said.
“Which lesson did you learnt?” shen asked.
“The iron law of the jungle, Grandpa. One must be strong. Otherwise he will become the pray for everyone.” Krishna replied.
“You learnt a good lesson then. Now go and take some rest. I will guard this place.” Shen said.
After some time, Krishna slept. The two strangers are still unconscious. Shen was guarding them the whole night.
