-The person to steal your heart, it's me, it's me, it's me
-The last person, it's me, it's me, it's me
Soo-ha finishes the song without losing his tempo and strength.
The seats of the judges were silent.
Immediately after the song has ended, Soo-Ha, struggles to control his breath.
This body was not the one who underwent 10 years of daily torture, even if he had the skill, he didn't have the tools to carry them out perfectly.
Nonetheless, Soo-Ha felt an immense sense of relief and joy.
Unlike in the audition where he had used his experience to succeed, this time he used his abilities to the utmost.
It was a performance he was proud of.
It was a performance filled with his blood, sweat and tears.
It was a performance worthy of the stage he was standing on.
Facing the audience and judges, his bright smile lights up the set capturing the attention of the audience, burying itself deeply in the hearts of those watching
"Haa-Ha-Ha, thank you ...haa-haa … for watching my performance"
His face was full of enthusiasm, it was silently screaming that he had done his best
Such a view was one that made any onlooker share the warmth of the person on stage.
The look on the judges faces made it clear that they were ready to pour out compliments.
The choreographer, takes the initiative as he is the first to open his mouth.
There was no one who would bring a bigger impact on air once they edited in his one-on-one from a few days ago.
"Soo-Ha"
"Haaa-Haaa …. yes"
"Good job"
"..."
It was simple yet certain.
Instead of answering back, Soo-Ha's eyes form thin crescents as the corners of his lips rise.
It was a smile that would give the image of a mischievous youth, yet it also showed expressed satisfaction at getting his first words of praise from his teacher.
"By the way, Soo-Ha, what the hell did you do these last two days?"
In response to the choreographers' question, he could see the other judges mouthing to each other, as he adds a qualifier.
"It's been 2 days since we last saw each other, I should have the best gauge of your skills... and from what I could tell, your improvement is crazy"
"...That's..."
Soo-Ha gulps to catch his breath, deliberately brushing his hair back as if to appear embarrassed.
"I asked a good friend"
"A good friend"
"It's Go Yoojun."
In other words, Soo-ha's angel and smoke screen.
He knew one of these days he would need an explanation for his rapidly improving skills, so why not move them emotionally.
And he had the perfect shield, Go Yoojun the dance genius was my roommate.
- Hey, Yoojun, you have time?
-W-what do you need?
-Can you help me for a bit?
-Yes! I can!
It wasn't uncommon for people around that age to get practical advice from peers, so since it wasn't unheard of Soo-Ha decided to help Yoojun out a little bit.
While he felt a little embarrassed because he made Yoojun passionately teach him for 2 hours.
He did learn a few things, one of them being that when it came to dance.... the little kid was a demon.
He was certain that if the editors weren't stupid, they would be able to make use of this image in contrast to the shy little kid who followed him around.
'Let's make things a little more intense'
"...Ahyun is very kind"
"Hey, are you saying I'm not?"
The choreographer taunts, but seeing his face was full of smiles, it proved that it had gone over well.
****
As expected, a good twist would always be entertaining.
There was no way a plot twist like this wouldn't work on an idol survival program.
The reaction of judges was equally as good.
"That was incredible!"
"Soo-Ha-ssi, while there are minor issues, you have a lot of potential"
"I look forward to seeing more in the future"
For Soo-Ha it was a literal and figurative step away from death.
'As expected, distributing all 3 points was the right choice."
Due to his investment, dance was currently at C+
If Soo-Ha had to compare it to when he had levelled up Vocals, it could only to be said to be even more intense.
It felt like he had instantly learned how to exert fine control over various muscle groups throughout his body.
It was to the point that learning the choreography, was a cake walk.
Previously, he would need to split the choreography into segments slowly building up a foundation before fine-tuning the results.
Now, it was as if he could pick up on all the tiny moves and adjustments in the big choreography with only one viewing, even if his body couldn't follow, the entire sequence would be clear in his head.
If one were to limit his dance skills just to this song, it would be better than most of those in the intermediate class.
Truthfully, had he not focused on memorising the song without sleeping, his performance would have barely met the standard even with upgraded stats.
Anyway, it was a success, and all he had to do now was wait for the rankings to be announced.
