I always knew I had to write the Origin Lore from the perspective of a historian or a bystander (for the most part anyway). Since the goal was to make the story feel as real as possible instead of it being treated as fiction (meaning that it sounds like scripture claiming that every events written in it is as it really happened), I didn't have much choice but to forgo grounded, introspective narrative in favor of a voice that favors historical narrative.
But because I'm writing in a way that I'm not really used to as a creative writer (I've always leaned heavily towards introspective narrative), and the fact I'm eager to just start exploring the main characters asap makes me feel somewhat bored of finishing the Origin Lore in the meantime xD.
So for now, I'm still writing Origin Lore. I mean, we are more than halfway through completion, so it would be idiotic to abandon this now, but right now I want to focus on actually getting Nullbound Reagen to take off to the moon. There's all sorts of stuff I wanna explore via character-grounded viewpoints.
Long story short, I'll be slowing down on the Origin Lore and will instead dedicate 85% of my writing time into Nullbound Reagen. The idea is to concurrently release chapters from both titles so that readers benefit from a sense of progression from both the Lore and the Main Story.
