What's going on with the schedule feature?

I often Schedule my chapters, but I'm not sure the scheduling function works on this site? I live in US Central Time, and often schedule chapters for 6 AM. I schedule leave them there, and then twice now, I've come to check on them and they're not released, like at all. I have to click "publish" to publish them. Is there something I'm doing wrong, because when I schedule a chapter, I expect it to be published when I say for it to be published. Is it a different time than what I'm expecting? What's going on here?

I released a new timelapse. I wanted it to finish the character, but i still have a ways to go, and I already crammed a lot in there. So we'll just leave with this.
