Now, they could observe the mermaid up close and personal.

Moreover, those warheads were tiny-no bigger than a hammer-yet packed a wallop equivalent to heavy military ordnance. That meant the fuel had an insanely high thermal output, probably on par with advanced missile propellants.
With heat output like that, a tiny nugget could likely burn for hours.
The mermaid princess nodded eagerly. "Mm-hmm! We have an entire mineral deposit of that fuel down in the sea. I can take you there whenever you're ready, my lord."
