Chapter 47 - A Different Kind of Woman, Want to Spar

?

Liu Yang ground his boot into Black Tiger's face.

"See? Out of excuses already," Liu Yang said. "I told you from the start I wouldn't need abilities to put you in your place. And since you had the nerve to eye my woman, I'll just have to take care of your wife for you. Word is, you've got over a dozen?"

Black Tiger scrambled to squeeze the words out. "Yes! Yes, over a dozen! They're all yours-take them! Just spare my life and every single one is yours!"

Liu Yang paused, genuinely caught off guard. He hadn't expected the man to toss his wives aside so seamlessly just to stay alive.

"Oh? Pretty generous of you, throwing them away without missing a beat."

"It's only right! Beauties belong to heroes! Trash like me doesn't deserve them anyway!" Black Tiger blurted out frantically.

Before Liu Yang could reply, White Fox chimed in from the side.

"Those wives are just civilian women he dragged in by force. He made them his, but there's zero affection there. His actual wife died way back when the apocalypse started. Though... he does still have a biological daughter alive."

Black Tiger's face twisted in instant fury. He roared at her, "White Fox! You fucking bitch! You slut! You traitorous cunt! You dare stab me in the back!?"

Seeing him flare up again, Liu Yang shifted his weight and pressed down hard with his heel.

He instantly crushed Black Tiger's jaw out of alignment, silencing the tirade into muffled, agonizing gurgles.

So the guy doesn't give a damn about his wives, Liu Yang thought, but the daughter is his soft spot.

He turned his attention toward White Fox and the remaining survivors.

During the fight, White Fox, Falcon, and the rest of Black Tiger's elite unit had stood by, paralyzed with fear.

Now, watching Liu Yang slice off Black Tiger's limbs in under ten seconds and turn their boss into a bloody torso, they hardly dared to breathe.

Fighting was out of the question, and running was a death sentence. With his terrifying speed, they wouldn't make it ten meters before being butchered.

So they stood frozen, desperately trying to play invisible, praying he would overlook them and leave their fate untouched.

Instead, White Fox's sudden interjection had dragged his gaze straight to them.

As Liu Yang's eyes landed on the group, Falcon and the others felt as if a demon lord were glaring down at them. A violent shudder ran down their spines, every hair on their bodies standing straight up.

Their knees buckled immediately.

"Thud."

They collapsed onto the floor in unison, kneeling in cold sweat.

Only White Fox remained standing.

Liu Yang studied her.

Taking her in for the first time, he was slightly surprised.

When he first walked in, he had been entirely focused on the greasy, overbearing Black Tiger, missing the remarkably striking woman at his side.

She wore a sleek, silver-white pixie cut that gave her a sharp, heroic edge. Her delicate features radiated a cool confidence, and her tight black combat suit looked like something straight out of a Black Widow cosplay.

She was tall with flawless, porcelain skin and an aloof, icy demeanor. The only slight shame was that while everything else was top-tier, her chest left a bit to be desired.

A bit light on the front, he noted mentally.

"Who are you?" Liu Yang asked.

White Fox's crimson lips curled into a subtle, sultry smile. "I'm White Fox. I was an ability user in this base-second-in-command, actually. But as of now? I'm your woman."

Liu Yang blinked, then chuckled.

"Oh? Did I agree to that?"

He hadn't expected her to be so direct, claiming ownership of the spot right off the bat.

It left him mildly amused.

"You will," White Fox replied smoothly. "Because you've definitely never met a woman like me before."

In a flash, she moved.

Before anyone could track her motion, a gleaming dagger had already materialized in her palm. Like a phantom, she darted between Falcon and the kneeling elites, leaving a trail of arterial spray in her wake.

Before the men could even react, their throats were cleanly laid open.

Falcon clutched his neck as blood gushed through his fingers. He stared at her with wide, disbelieving eyes, raising a trembling finger.

"White... White Fox... you... !"

To his final breath, he couldn't comprehend why he was dying by his teammate's blade instead of the monster standing over Black Tiger.

Liu Yang watched her execute the group, slightly eyebrow-raised.

"What was that for? I didn't say to kill them."

"Black Tiger was their leader. When he told them to move, they froze," White Fox said, flicking a drop of crimson off her lower lip with her tongue. "They're disloyal fence-sitters. Keeping them around serves no purpose, so I cleaned them up for you."

Liu Yang gave her a half-smile. "Didn't you disobey Black Tiger too?"

"I'm different," White Fox stated without hesitation.

"How so?"

Her smile widened into a picture of complete self-assurance. "I can be your woman. Those useless trash couldn't. You're not into men, are you? A boss is fair game to betray, but you don't betray your own man. So you don't have to worry about me."

Liu Yang stood there, speechless for a moment.

"Damn, her logic is so twisted it almost makes sense."

Recovering, he asked, "No, seriously-are you always this forward? Claiming you're my woman the second we meet?"

White Fox glided over to him, resting a slender white finger gently against his chest.

"Handsome," she purred, her voice dripping with charm, "has no one ever told you that you're extraordinarily handsome and attractive?"

"Uh... honestly, no." Caught off guard by the compliment, Liu Yang scratched his head with a rare trace of awkwardness.

"Then those people lied to you. I'm different. I like handsome men, and I like strong men. You happen to fit my taste perfectly. So I won't beat around the bush-I just want to sleep with you."

Her unabashed boldness was almost overwhelming.

Usually, he was the one dropping hints to coax women into his room for an "in-depth chat."

This woman skipped the hints entirely and threw down a direct proposition.

She wants to bed me?

Hell, who's afraid of who?

Liu Yang's competitive edge kicked in, a smirk spreading across his face. "Sure. Why don't we find a room right now and spar a bit? I'll let you taste my secret weapon."

White Fox held up a hand. "Not yet."

She glanced down at the writhing torso on the floor. "That idiot Black Tiger is missing his arms and legs and bleeding out fast. Shouldn't you hurry up and 'take care' of his daughter right in front of him before he croaks?"

Black Tiger's eyes bulged in pure venom. "White Fox, you fucking cunt! You whore! You're going to burn in hell for this!"

"Heh, still barking?" White Fox sneered cold-bloodedly. "I'll go fetch your daughter right now."

Without waiting for another word, she turned on her heel and strode toward the living quarters.

Watching her figure recede, Black Tiger panicked, his chest heaving as he shrieked in absolute terror.

"No! No, no, no! Don't! White Fox! Touch my daughter and I'll tear you apart! I'll haunt you forever! I won't let you get away with this even as a ghost!!"
