Liu Yang carried Chen Yuanyuan and Chen Xuelian back to the villa area.
The two male superpower users hauled the heavily injured Yang Gaofeng back to the Flying Eagle Organization.
When Liu Yang touched down in the villa area with the two women, both of them were completely stunned.
This was their first time experiencing such high-speed flight!
The extreme G-force of supersonic travel left their heads spinning.
At the same time, awe washed over them.
The abilities Liu Yang had pulled off were simply unreal. Not only did he wield terrifying ice manipulation, but he could fly like a jet!
What kind of superpower was this anyway?
Could he be the only mutant in existence with dual abilities?
If that was true, Liu Yang's value skyrocketed through the roof!
They had to recruit this Heaven Ranking #1 powerhouse with dual abilities back to the Flying Eagle Organization at all costs!
Right then, Tong Bingjie and Lin Xue'er walked out of the villa.
Seeing Chen Yuanyuan and Chen Xuelian standing there, both women widened their eyes.
Tong Bingjie blurted out, "Chen Yuanyuan, Captain of the Eighth Team, Southern District, Flying Eagle Organization?"
Chen Yuanyuan locked eyes with her and replied, "Tong Bingjie, Captain of the Tenth Team, Southern District, Hidden Dragon Organization?"
As team captains of rival regional factions, they might not have been in the same unit, but their paths crossed constantly.
While Flying Eagle and Hidden Dragon were fierce competitors, they also cooperated when necessary.
When disaster struck in the apocalypse, they had each other's backs.
In fact, Tong Bingjie and Chen Yuanyuan had teamed up on several joint operations.
Once, their combined squads had wiped out an infiltrating cell of mutant operatives from the Little Sun Empire!
They knew each other well, which made running into each other inside Liu Yang's villa all the more shocking.
An immediate wave of territorial tension spiked between them.
Tong Bingjie thought to herself:
Damn it, Liu Yang was right-he's a hot commodity!
I came here to pitch Hidden Dragon, but the Flying Eagle thugs beat me to the punch! And they moved fast!
Still, we have the home-court advantage of arriving first.
Plus, Xue'er has already hooked up with Liu Yang. Just for Xue'er's sake, Liu Yang has got to put Hidden Dragon at the top of his list, right?
Even so, it's too risky. To lock this down, I need to sneak into Liu Yang's bed tonight and secure my position first!
No way I'm letting that vixen Chen Yuanyuan steal him!
Across the yard, Chen Yuanyuan's eyes narrowed with fierce determination.
She thought to herself:
Damn it, Liu Yang wasn't bluffing. Hidden Dragon got here ages ago!
They've already established a lead, which means I have to work twice as hard!
I can't compete with Tong Bingjie on looks or raw combat stats, so if I want to make a lasting impression on Liu Yang, I'll just have to master some new tricks and keep him thoroughly satisfied!
I'll talk to Xuelian tonight. We'll hone our techniques together and make sure Liu Yang can't get enough of us!
"We are definitely beating Tong Bingjie and Lin Xue'er at their own game!"
Noticing the mutual recognition, Liu Yang raised an eyebrow. "Oh? You guys know each other?"
Tong Bingjie scoffed. "We're both team captains in the Southern District forces, how could we not? Our operational zones overlap all the time. But let's be real, Flying Eagle still trails far behind our Hidden Dragon."
Chen Yuanyuan shot back defensively, "In your dreams! How is Flying Eagle behind Hidden Dragon? Sure, we were founded later, but we'll surpass you sooner or later!"
Tong Bingjie smirked with absolute disdain. "Does Flying Eagle have anyone in the top five of the Heaven Ranking? Our Hidden Dragon has Zhou Xingchen at #3!
Does Flying Eagle have a martial artist family backing you? We have the Ye Family!
Your backing is the Yang Family, and behind them is the Xiao Family-you're separated by a whole extra layer!
What makes you think you can even compare?"
Chen Yuanyuan choked on her words, her face flushing crimson with frustration.
She pointed an accusatory finger at Tong Bingjie and snapped,
"You... you are the worst! Hmph!"
Tong Bingjie flashed a triumphant grin.
And you thought you could measure up to Hidden Dragon?
Please.
Not even close.-
Liu Yang stood nearby, completely speechless.
True to the rumors, Flying Eagle and Hidden Dragon were eternal rivals, ready to claw at each other's throats the second they crossed paths.
Liu Yang stepped in to make introductions. "Alright, these two are Flying Eagle mutants. This is Chen Xuelian, and this is Chen Yuanyuan. From now on, we're one big happy family. I don't care what faction you belonged to before-once you're in my villa, everyone's on equal footing."
Factions didn't matter to Liu Yang, and neither did the martial artist families backing them.
Any woman capable of helping him expand his legacy was a good woman!
Everything else was just background noise.
Once inside the villa, Liu Yang led Chen Xuelian and Chen Yuanyuan straight into a private room.
He looked them dead in the eye and asked, "Have you two truly decided to stay and be my women? Let's get one thing straight: don't pull any shady stunts against this villa, or I won't hesitate to get ruthless."
Since they were fellow Divine Dragon Empire mutants and not enemies, Liu Yang saw no need to slap a Soul Chain on them.
Soul Chains were reserved for targets who needed to be put in their place.
That said, if these women dared cross the line, Liu Yang wouldn't care if they came from Hidden Dragon or Flying Eagle-he'd execute them on the spot.
Chen Xuelian and Chen Yuanyuan nodded vigorously. "Yes, absolutely! Trust us, since we've chosen to stay, we'd never do anything against you. Besides, the Flying Eagle Organization is genuinely eager to recruit you!
We're all mutants of the Divine Dragon Empire. With foreign powers invading our borders, we need to stick together. Turning on each other is out of the question."
After a brief pause, Chen Yuanyuan added cautiously, "That said... you did beat up Yang Gaofeng. He's bound to hold a grudge. His combat power might be mediocre, but he's the sole heir of the Yang Family, and their influence isn't a joke... I wouldn't be surprised if he tries to retaliate."
Liu Yang smirked, unimpressed. "The Yang Family? What are they, some big shot martial artist clan?"
"Not quite, but they answer to the Xiao Family, and the Xiao Family is a martial artist powerhouse," Chen Yuanyuan explained.
Liu Yang let out a cold, dismissive laugh. "Hah. Just a lapdog kept by a martial artist family. If a mutt dares to snap at me, getting beaten up was letting him off easy!"
