After finishing off these zombies, Liu Yang finally got his wish and entered the pharmacy.
He proceeded to ransack the place.
He swept all the medicines into his Dark Space, even scooping up the gauze, medical tape, syringes, saline, glucose drips, and various medical instruments.
With the sweep complete, Liu Yang turned to leave the hospital.
Just as he passed a patient ward, a faint noise suddenly came from inside.
Liu Yang stopped, instantly on high alert.
A second later, the ward door opened a sliver.
An eye peered out through the crack.
Upon seeing Liu Yang in the corridor, the terror in that eye instantly melted into wild joy.
The door swung open.
A delighted voice rang out from within:
"Ah! It's a human! Sob... Thank god! I never thought there'd be other survivors!"
Liu Yang took a closer look and realized a young female doctor and a nurse were hiding in the ward.
The doctor appeared to be in her late twenties, maybe twenty-seven or twenty-eight.
The nurse was even younger, barely in her early twenties.
Both were exceptionally beautiful. Though their faces were pale, gaunt, and weak, it couldn't hide their delicate features.
He also noticed a zombie corpse lying on the hospital bed.
Liu Yang quickly pieced it together. When the outbreak began, the two had probably been examining the patient, only for the person to mutate halfway through.
But they were incredibly lucky.
The patient had recently been in a car accident. Both of his legs were fractured, and he had just undergone surgery.
Even after turning into a zombie, he couldn't get up to attack them. Instead, he was easily finished off by the two women...
It was probably the most humiliating death of any zombie out there.
Liu Yang asked, "Are you staff at this hospital?"
"Mm-hmm!" The two nodded frantically, tears welling in their eyes.
"We've been trapped in this ward for over ten days! We're starving! We only survived this long because the patient's family brought two crates of milk! Otherwise, we would've died ages ago!
"By the way, is the disaster outside over? Are all the zombies dead?"
Liu Yang shook his head. "No. Not only are they not dead, they've evolved into Level 2 and Level 3 zombies. They're a hundred times more terrifying than the ordinary ones."
"Ah!" The two girls jumped, the color draining from their faces.
They had already witnessed the horrors of the undead when the apocalypse broke out.
And now there were Level 2 and Level 3 mutants a hundred times worse?
Heaven help them!
How were weak women like them supposed to survive?
"It's over, we're doomed!" The doctor's face fell into despair.
The nurse did the same, covering her face and bursting into tears.
At this, Liu Yang spoke up:
"Don't be so distressed. Level 2 and Level 3 zombies are strong, but I can take you somewhere safe."
Hearing this, the two looked at him in disbelief. "You can take us to a safe place? Is there even a safe place left in this world?"
"Of course there is. Wherever I am is a safe place," Liu Yang said confidently.
The women asked, "But didn't you say the zombies have evolved to Levels 2 and 3, making them a hundred times more terrifying?"
Liu Yang replied, "But my strength is ten thousand times theirs! Let's go. You'll understand once we get there."
Looking at Liu Yang's outstretched hand, both the doctor and the nurse still hesitated.
While they desperately wanted to be rescued in this apocalypse, blindly following a stranger felt incredibly risky.
What if he had malicious intentions?
How could two weak women possibly fight him off?
Seeing their hesitation, Liu Yang added, "If I really wanted to do something to you two, couldn't I just do it right here on the spot? Why would I need to trick you into leaving?
"The moment you opened that door and showed yourselves, you already lost your right to choose."
Hearing his words, the doctor gritted her teeth. As if making a grueling internal decision, she nodded. "Alright. You're right. We'll go with you!"
The apocalypse had been going on for a while. During their days trapped in the ward, they had thought and discussed a great deal.
They knew surviving this wasteland wasn't easy. They were also fully aware of what it meant for a man to take them away in such times.
They just hoped Liu Yang wasn't a total pervert.
"Good. Let's go," Liu Yang said with a nod.
He began leading the two women out of the hospital.
Along the way, the women saw the zombies Liu Yang had killed, making their hearts pound with terror.
Every single zombie had its head blown apart. Judging by where and how they had fallen, they could tell the monsters had been killed mid-sprint.
There wasn't even a sign of a struggle!
Did this mean this man was so powerful that the zombies couldn't even get close to him?
After seeing his handiwork, the two women felt a sense of relief.
It seemed Liu Yang really was as strong as he claimed. Following him meant their chances of survival were extremely high!
As long as they could survive.
Even if he expected them to offer their bodies in return, it wasn't a big deal-as long as his demands weren't too sick and twisted!
Once outside, Liu Yang splashed gasoline around a few highly flammable corners of the building and struck a match, setting the hospital ablaze.
Level 3 zombies had already appeared here. If left unchecked, Level 4 or even Level 5 variants might spawn.
While Liu Yang didn't fear them, these mutated zombies would be an absolute disaster for ordinary ability users.
With that dealt with, Liu Yang turned to the women. "You two are too slow. My villa is over ten kilometers away. If we walk, it'll take hours. Come here, I'll take you flying."
"Take us flying? What do you mean?" The two beauties looked utterly confused.
"I mean exactly what I said." Liu Yang reached out, wrapping his arms around their slender waists and pulling them flush against him.
"Ah! ♡" The two let out soft gasps, their faces flushing red.
"Hold on tight. I'm taking off!" As soon as the words left his mouth, Liu Yang launched into the air.
"Ahhhh!!!!" The women shrieked, but quickly slapped their hands over their mouths to avoid attracting zombies.
However, their eyes still swirled with a mix of terror and sheer adrenaline.
This was way more thrilling than a roller coaster!
They were flying a hundred meters in the sky, the landscape below rapidly shrinking.
They were soaring forward at incredible speed.
The two women were terrified out of their wits!
My God!
They were actually flying in the sky?
Just who was this guy?
How could he fly?
In that moment, Liu Yang had ascended to the status of a god in their eyes!
